Shape File Folder Game by Grumpy Dumpling

My kids are crazy about shape games! I don’t really know why, but it might have something to do with my passion for teaching math (It runs in the family – my brother and my dad teach math, while my mum teaches IT). I'm more into teaching Math and English than any other subjects and the kids pick up on that.

Some of them are really enthusiastic about anything related to numbers or shapes – we build shape towers, draw shapes, make shapes them out of Legos, building blocks, playdough, have treasure hunts and lots of other fun activities.

We have new kids in our group, some of them who have never been in kindergarten before and I made this game so that they can also get involved. The worksheets are very easy to use for differentiated learning tasks. For example, the younger kids can match the shapes with the cutouts, while the older children can trace the shapes and their names, practice letter recognition and fine motor skills.

The tasks are easy to understand, so they will be able to use the game independently too.

You can download it here or pin it for later.

The very cute clipart has been created by 2 Super Teachers. A big thank you to these wonderful teachers, Victoria and  Tricia, for their amazing resources. :)

Have a great weekend!
