Car Park for Number Recognition

This is by no means my original idea, but I’ve seen it on so many educational websites, that I don’t really know whose idea it was to begin with. The idea is simple: just create a car park from a shoe box and number each parking space. Then stick foam numbers on some toy cars and let the kids match the numbers.

What you need: a shoe box, markers, foam numbers (optional), toy cars.

Here’s the result…it took about 5 minutes to make.
